How to make the Maple Cherry Whiskey Shooter via Common Man Cocktails

Here's a pretty cool recipe that uses both Maple and Cherry.

1oz. Whiskey
1/2 Maple Syrup
Cherry

I wonder how it would taste with the Crown Royal Maple I did a review on it a while ago. As you can see I used it as a topping on Apple Pie and even my Chai Latte.
