This is definitely one of my fav cocktail shows. I'm always inspired by the fact they come up with their recipes through just experiencing a meal. Creative and coolness definitely goes to them for banging out some excellent recipes. The vibe you get is a summer time afternoon and a great fall morning with these two drinks. Check out the recipes below the video:
SOUTHERN SOUR RECIPE
Into a shaker put:
¾ oz honey syrup
½ oz orange juice
½ oz lemon juice
2 oz white corn whisky
Into the another shaker put one egg white (use a different shaker so you don't spoil the booze if you mess up)
Add shakers together and do a dry shake (no ice)
Add ice and do a wet shake
Add ice cubes to a sour glass and strain the shaker into the glass
Shake the foam from the shaker into the cocktail glass
Top the cocktail with soda water
