For the ladies, this is a great cocktail for your taste buds. Here's a drink that involves strawberries and champagne. Another awesome recipe from the Casserole Queens.
Recipe
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
champagne or sparkling wine
strawberry for garnish
Put strawberries, vanilla, lemon juice and sugar in a blender and puree. Pour into a champagne flute half way (more or less to taste). Top with champagne or sparkling wine, and stir gently. Garnish with strawberry.
